Fund Accountant

Leading private investment firm, with over $15 billion AUM and a four-decade track record, invests across healthcare and technology and is currently deploying capital from its latest multi-billion-dollar fund. The firm operates with a lean team of approximately 100 professionals and emphasizes a collaborative, high-performance culture. The firm is seeking a Tax & Fund Operations Associate who brings strong technical tax skills and a desire to broaden their exposure beyond compliance. This individual will play a key role in supporting the firm’s finance function, contributing to tax operations, fund structuring, investor reporting, and strategic process improvements. Key Responsibilities: Analyze financial and tax data to support filings across Funds, Co-Investment vehicles, General Partners, and the Management Company Manage the full review cycle for K-1s and K-3s, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution to investors and employees Collaborate with external tax advisors on federal, state, and international tax filings, including complex disclosure forms ("e.g., 5471, 926, 8865, 8621") Oversee the preparation of tax estimates and payments, including passthrough entity tax (PTET) payments Monitor and support compliance with international reporting requirements, including FATCA, FBAR, and CRS Maintain and enhance internal databases tracking tax basis, investor classifications, and demographic information Candidate Profile: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MST preferred 3–6 years of experience in private equity or partnership tax (public accounting or in-house) Solid understanding of private equity fund structures and related tax issues #J-18808-Ljbffr
