Base pay range $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr What you'll do Be a Team Member: Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicates with team members; and is flexible to work in other areas as needed. Be an Expert: Demonstrates knowledge of floor and backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, sanitation of equipment; prepares meat products according to established standards (cutting, grinding, wrapping, trimming); maintains product quality standards. Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; uses handheld technology to make decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them. Be an Owner: Maintains operational excellence; keeps work area clean and in line with policies; ensures quality and date control for meat products; secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminates waste; assists members with purchasing decisions; ensures merchandise is packaged, labeled, and stored per policy. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department and club by valuing the member experience in the meat area and modeling high-quality service and products; performs basics at the highest possible level; shows energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Complies with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity; uses the Open Door Policy; applies these in executing business processes and practices. Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and other partners; identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicates progress; and learns from change and feedback.
