Overnight Relief Veterinary Receptionist

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring for an Overnight Relief Veterinary Receptionist in Glendale, AZ! This role will be assisting from July-October to cover an individual on leave. We are looking for our next superstar!

Schedule: Swing

We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends.

*Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum.

For example:

• Mon Fri: 6pm to 8am = $3.50 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $3.50 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $5.00 Shift Differential

What You'll Do

• Provide high-level reception support in a busy emergency and specialty hospital
• Greet clients, check in patients, and manage front desk flow during overnight hours
• Answer phones and support client communication with professionalism and empathy
• Assist with estimates, invoices, and financial discussions
• Communicate clearly with medical teams to support patient care and workflow
• Maintain accurate documentation and front desk processes during high-stress periods
• Help create a calm, organized, and supportive experience for clients during urgent situations

What We're Looking For

• Previous/current veterinary receptionist experience required
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-emotion emergency environment
• Strong communication skills and a professional, compassionate presence
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently
• Detail-oriented with strong multitasking and computer skills
• Positive, energetic, and willing to jump in where needed

CSRs play a vital role in supporting clients and medical teams during some of the most critical and emotional moments in a pet's life. This role offers the chance to make an immediate impact, gain additional specialty and emergency experience, and potentially continue with the hospital in a flexible capacity.
