CNC Operator

About the Role We are seeking a dependable CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up and run CNC equipment to produce high-precision metal parts while maintaining quality standards. Looking for candidates that live within 20 miles of Suffolk County. Key Responsibilities Machine Setup & Operation: Calibrate, set up, and operate CNC machinery to fabricate components according to technical drawings and project specifications. Parts Inspection: Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and precision gauges to ensure exact tolerances. Maintenance & Tooling: Perform routine machine maintenance, dress tooling, and manage minor machine adjustments to keep production moving efficiently. Safety & Workplace Standards: Follow all shop safety guidelines, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Troubleshooting: Monitor machine cycles to spot tool wear, material flaws, or mechanical faults, making adjustments as needed. Requirements Proven experience operating CNC mills, lathes, or routers. Ability to read blueprints and precision measuring tools. Troubleshooting: Monitor machine performance during cycles to detect malfunctions, material defects, or tool wear, making adjustments or reporting issues as necessary.
