Schedule Details:

• Tuesday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during various treatment procedures.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays).
• Review patient medical histories and ensure patient comfort throughout treatment.
• Provide post-operative instructions and oral hygiene education.
• Take impressions for study casts.
• Provide direct patient care across all dental specialties.
• Assist the dentist during a wide range of dental procedures to ensure efficient patient care.
• Take, develop, and review dental radiographs (X-rays) to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Obtain comprehensive medical histories from patients to inform treatment protocols.
• Provide a welcoming and comfortable environment, helping patients feel at ease before, during, and after their appointments.
• Offer post-treatment instructions, including oral care guidance following procedures such as restorations (fillings) and surgeries.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling to promote long-term oral health.
• Take impressions of patients' teeth for the creation of study models.
• Manage office tasks requiring proficiency with computer systems, including scheduling, billing, and supply ordering.
• Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and suppliers to ensure seamless office operations.
• Support direct patient care across various dental specialties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in dental assisting is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
