Nursing Assistant - Progress CareNursing Assistant - Progress Care at St Joseph Hospital Eureka, CA. Under the supervision of the Assistant Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse or RN, the Nursing Assistant assists with routine, direct bedside care of patients of various ages as defined by the department scope of service. Such duties include, but are not limited to: personal hygiene, data collection and observation, vital signs, I&O, use of equipment, ADL's, documenting on the medical record, answering call lights, and recognizing and responding to emergency situations.Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they're invaluable.
