Marketing Database Assistant

Overview A leading professional services organization is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Marketing Database Assistant to join its Marketing Department. This position plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the organization's experience and knowledge management platform, ensuring Marketing and Business Development teams have access to accurate, current, and meaningful data to support client development initiatives, proposals, industry rankings submissions, and strategic projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong data management skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization. Key Responsibilities Database Management & Data Quality
- Maintain and support the organization's experience database and related marketing systems.
- Enter, update, and manage experience records and associated marketing data.
- Prepare, validate, and migrate data, identifying and resolving data quality issues to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Assist in developing enhancements to data structures, workflows, processes, and reporting capabilities.
- Serve as a key resource for database maintenance and data management activities across the Business Development and Marketing teams.
- Partner with Business Development professionals to create, maintain, and update customized experience lists for proposals, presentations, pitches, and other marketing materials.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Respond to experience-related information requests and ensure data is organized, accessible, and strategically maintained.
- Support industry rankings and directory submissions by extracting and organizing relevant experience information and supporting content.
- Assist with maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and usability of experience and knowledge management resources.
- Contribute to broader Marketing Technology and Operations initiatives, including projects related to:
- Email marketing and marketing automation platforms
- Client relationship management (CRM) systems
- Website content and data management
- Reporting, analytics, and performance metrics
- Marketing technology enhancements and operational improvement initiatives
- Associate degree, two-year college degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous administrative, database, data entry, or related experience.
- Typing proficiency of at least 50 words per minute.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and experience with databases or data management systems.
- Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Ability to review, analyze, and manage large volumes of data efficiently.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Dependable, reliable, and committed to delivering exceptional internal client service.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet business demands.
