Respiratory Therapist - Nights

Location: Toledo, OH

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00.

Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a night shift position. The ideal candidate will hold an active Ohio RRT license, possess NRP certification prior to the start date, and be comfortable working with a diverse patient population including adults, geriatrics, and pediatrics. This role requires flexibility to float between facilities in the Metro Region, ensuring all guaranteed hours are fulfilled.

Responsibilities:

• Provide general and critical care respiratory therapy for adult and pediatric patients.
• Administer medication delivery, bronchopulmonary hygiene, and hyperinflation therapy.
• Initiate, manage, and wean patients from invasive and non-invasive ventilation.
• Perform airway management, suctioning, intubation assist, and extubation.
• Respond to rapid responses and emergency situations, performing CPR as needed.
• Conduct blood gas sampling and analysis as well as specimen collection.
• Support pediatric patients and assist in the pediatric ER as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in acute care.
• Valid Ohio RRT license.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP.
• Preferred experience in high-risk deliveries.
• Familiarity with Epic charting system is a plus.
