We are seeking a skilled Golf Course Mechanic to join our team and maintain the mechanical aspects of our golf course equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in small engine repair, hydraulic systems, and general maintenance procedures. As a Golf Course Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning and longevity of our fleet of mowers, and other equipment essential for course maintenance. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance tasks on golf course equipment such as mowers, utility vehicles, and turf management machinery. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime. Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential problems before they escalate. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory. Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient operations. Assist in the ordering and procurement of replacement parts and supplies. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Operate equipment safely and proficiently. Perform other duties as assigned by the Golf Course Superintendent or management team. Requirements Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in a golf course or landscaping environment. Strong knowledge of small engine repair, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems. Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
