About the DepartmentYou will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions (FFEx), which is responsible for all major expansion activities within aseptic production, solid dosage forms, finished products, fill & finish warehousing, and QC across all production areas in Product Supply. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approx. 20,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 50,000 employees.FFEx is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan, and build all new aseptic filling capacity across Novo Nordisk to serve the needs of millions of patients. Use available data & business knowledge to create insights, to help stakeholders, make decisions & take actions. Establish & sustain optimal planning, controlling & forecasting processes for designated areas. Ensure solid financial deliverables to relevant stakeholders. Safeguard financial production cost targets.RelationshipsReports to Manager, Finance.Essential FunctionsAnalyse & report on Production economy, including raw material consumption, yield performance & unit costManage the Material Costing, Overhead Allocations & Inventory Value processes, ensuring accuracy & timely handling of the processesManage the Scrap & Yield reporting, analysis & improvement initiativesProvide business intelligence support to stakeholders, including creation & improvement of relevant analytical toolsDrive material costing process & Master data complianceEnsure increase of financial understanding of product costing across the organization by offering training & participating in cross area processes, site visits, etcDrive timely & solid delivery of formal submissions & ad-hoc requests within area of expertiseEnsure that financial deliverables are aligned to requirements from FinanceSafeguard that process areas meet financial targets by using continuous analysis, follow-up & suggesting corrective/preventive actions to production responsibles, Directors & CVPRepresent site in financial matters as needed, including central forums & work groupsFollow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of dutiesOther accountabilities, as assigned.Physical RequirementsAbility to work in an open office environment with the possibility of frequent distraction. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time (% can change on a case-by-case basis based on the role).QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field of study from an accredited university requiredMaster’s degree in logistics, finance or related field of study preferredMinimum of seven (7) years of experience in manufacturing cost controlling, maintenance or process required, preferably in a pharmaceutical or other regulated industryMinimum of five (5) years of financial analytical & financial accounting experience requiredHigh degree of experience with managing & delivering complex strategy deployment & long-term target settings requiredMinimum of three (3) years of SAP product costing experience requiredAdvanced knowledge within corporate finance systems, preferably within pharmaceutical industries requiredAdvanced knowledge & ability to proactively support central or local business cases & decision-making involving areas of process responsibility requiredWe commit to an inclusive recruitment process and equality of opportunity for all our job applicants.At Novo Nordisk, we're not chasing quick fixes – we're creating lasting change for long-term health.
