Endoscopy Technician

Responsibilities Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health is the new full‑service hospital in Washington, DC, integrating clinical care with community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers, the George Washington University Hospital, and an urgent‑care center in Ward8. This integrated delivery system provides a robust network for all District residents, and especially for residents of Wards 7 and8, who gain high‑quality care in their community. The hospital has 136 beds (expandable to 184), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and newborn delivery services, an ambulatory pavilion, a 500‑car garage, and a helipad for emergency transport. We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy Technician (PRN‑Days). The ideal candidate prepares rooms and equipment for endoscopy procedures, gathers all necessary tools such as endoscopes, light sources, and video monitors, and verifies that all equipment is functioning correctly. They assist doctors and nurses during procedures by handing tools or samples, monitor patients for any complications, and clean and sterilize all gear after each procedure using specialized cleaners and machines to eliminate germs while ensuring compliance with strict infection‑control protocols. The goal is to keep patients and staff safe.
