Details Surgical Recovery unit in an acute care hospital setting 4x10 evening shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Epic EMR experience required Requirements Active CA RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certification required PALS certification required within 1 year of hire IV Sedation competency required within 6 months of hire Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the specialty, with experience within the last 3 months BSN and acute care facility experience preferred No prior license actions permitted Additional Information Provide nursing care for a designated group of surgical recovery patients across the age spectrum Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate post-anesthesia patient care Incorporate patient teaching and discharge planning into care plans Delegate aspects of patient care to other nursing staff as appropriate Position is represented by a collective bargaining unit (CNA) Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction American Traveler Job ID P-771197.
