Investment Management Attorney, Corporate Counsel

A highly respected Boston-based investment management firm is seeking an experienced attorney to join its collaborative in-house legal team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a lawyer who enjoys tackling a broad range of sophisticated legal matters while working closely with investment professionals and business leaders.

Unlike highly specialized in-house roles, this position offers significant variety and the opportunity to develop expertise across multiple areas of law that support a global investment management business.
What You'll Do
As a key member of the legal team, you will advise on a wide variety of matters, including:
Providing legal and regulatory guidance to internal business partners
Negotiating and drafting commercial agreements and investment-related documentation
Advising on corporate governance and general corporate matters
Supporting investment activities and strategic business initiatives
Partnering with teams across the organization to solve complex legal and business challenges
What We're Looking For
4+ years of legal experience
Experience in a major law firm, investment management firm, or other sophisticated legal environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication abilities
Exceptional attention to detail and sound judgment
Intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in learning the business
High ethical standards and a collaborative approach
