Contract Dates: August 3, 2026 - January 31, 2027
Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM (Days)
Schedule: Every Other Weekend (EOW) / Every Other Holiday (EOH)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will be skilled in assessing, treating, and monitoring patients with acute and emergency medical conditions while working collaboratively with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients with emergency medical conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and families on treatment and discharge instructions.
- Follow all patient safety and clinical protocols.
Qualifications
- Active RN license (Iowa or Compact License).
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room experience.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
