Additional Information About the Role Location: St. Louis Children's Hospital One Children's Place St. Louis, MO 63110 The Behavioral Health Resource Team (BHRT) provides care to patients with complex behavioral health needs. They work closely within a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to ensure patients receive high-quality care to meet their physical, emotional, and mental health needs. The nurse will be responsible for assessing patients, developing care plans, administering medication, monitoring patient progress, and providing emotional support to patients and families. Seeking candidates with at least 1 year of Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, or general inpatient nursing experience. Responsibilities Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.Educates patients and their families on how to manage their illness or injury, including post treatment home care needs and medication administration. Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.Participates in professional development.
