What you will do Radar processing and network system design (e.g. X86‑based processors) Research and selection of servers, workstations, add‑in interface cards, storage devices, networking and other COTS hardware BIOS and operating system configuration definition System prototyping and integration in the lab Qualifications You Must Have Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline Minimum of 2 years of professional experience (an advanced degree may substitute two additional years) in emerging and legacy hardware and software, including Unix and Linux operating systems Experience taking a system design concept from block diagram or requirements to a complete COTS‑based hardware design and verifying the design via integration and test plans and activities Experience working in a lab environment and operating standard test equipment (oscilloscopes, processor bus analyzers, emulators, data capture tools, etc.) Qualifications We Prefer Experience developing and implementing computing, networking, and IT infrastructure through rigorous design and documentation Collaboration with hardware engineering, supply chain, suppliers, field engineering, on‑site installation and trades, and customers on safety‑critical systems Current or in‑progress computing/networking certification(s) (e.g., CCNA, AWS, CISSP) Experience with RADAR system hardware Experience with firewall design and configuration Experience implementing Security Technical Implementation Guides and network hardening System‑level hardware integration and troubleshooting skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook, PowerPoint) Willingness to support occasional domestic and potential international travel Existing security clearance Benefits Salary range: 68,900 USD – 131,100 USD. Eligible for relocation.
