Work Environment\nThis role allows for full-time remote work, enabling you to balance personal and professional obligations while contributing to a fast-paced outpatient mental health practice. Our scheduling primarily operates from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with flexibility to address patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments by utilizing diagnostic tools to evaluate patients' emotional and psychological well-being and develop tailored treatment plans. \n
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that are intricately designed to align with the unique cultural and personal backgrounds of your patients. \n
- Lead individual, family, and group therapy sessions focusing on diverse mental health issues, while fostering an atmosphere of resilience and emotional healing. \n
- Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care. \n
- Provide crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, employing intervention strategies that prioritize patient safety and stabilization. \n
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, thereby empowering them to actively engage in their care. \n
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and compliant documentation of patients' treatment and progress following federal regulations and ethical standards. \n

- A valid license as a Mental Health Counselor in the state of New York, demonstrating your commitment to ethical and professional standards in mental health care. \n
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related discipline is a base requirement; additional credentials such as a Master’s or Doctorate are preferred. \n
- Experience in culturally competent counseling and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by diverse populations. \n
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients. \n
