Purchasing CoordinatorHolland & Sherry Owings Mills, MD | On-Site | Monday–Friday, 8:45 AM–5:30 PM | Reports to the Purchasing ManagerOur Ideal Candidate IsExcellent with verbal and written communicationOrganized, punctual and personablePolished and professionalWilling to learn with a problem-solving mindsetKey ResponsibilitiesCommunicate approved orders to vendors, solicit information of receipt, and verify delivery dates are within company and industry standardPrepare invoices to send to vendors and maintain payment and delivery datesReview and analyze invoices before submitting them to the accounts payable department; ensure timely processing of payments with suppliers to meet delivery timelinesAssess inventory needs to determine cost-effective shipping practices and provide instructions for deliveriesLiaise with sales team and vendors to ensure proper release and reorder of productResolve delivery delays, incorrect shipments, and quality concerns with suppliers and Purchasing ManagerMaintain accurate information in various company systemsSpecial projects as required within purchasing teamQualificationsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilitiesStrong computer/math skills and data entry knowledgeProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systemsA passion for interior design and textilesWhat We OfferCompensation of $23-$25 per hour depending on experienceComprehensive medical, dental and vision insurance401k retirement savings program with employer matching contributionsPaid time off with at least 9 federal holidays observed throughout the calendar year
