We invite you to take a leadership role with our organization as we seek a dedicated and empathetic Nocturnist to enhance our exceptional hospitalist team. The selected candidate will deliver outstanding patient care during overnight shifts, playing a crucial role in our commitment to safety, quality, service, and innovation. This position is essential for maintaining continuous care for our patients around the clock and upholding our dedication to advancing medical practices.

• Deliver comprehensive inpatient care during overnight hours, which includes handling admissions, consultations, and medical emergencies.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including specialists, nursing staff, and support services, to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Facilitate effective communication with patients, families, and referring physicians to ensure smooth transitions of care.
• Engage in quality improvement projects, patient safety initiatives, and adherence to hospital protocols.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in line with medical record and billing requirements.
• Assist in the education and development of residents and medical students, as appropriate.

• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
• Licensure/Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Possession of an active Texas Medical License or eligibility for licensure in Texas.

• Preferred prior experience in a hospitalist or nocturnist capacity, with two years of experience being advantageous.
• Proven ability to efficiently manage acute inpatient care.

• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dedication to patient-centered care and ongoing professional development.

• Schedule: Full-time, 7-on/7-off nocturnist schedule with 12-hour shifts.
