Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and carry out physician-ordered treatments for surgical med/surg patients
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic health record systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, high-quality patient care
• Adhere to facility policies, compliance standards, and background check requirements throughout the assignment
• Complete required learning modules prior to the start of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona, verified within the last 30 days — no disciplinary actions or hits on state license
• Minimum of 24 months of Medical/Surgical experience, with experience within the last 12 months
• Active BLS certification from an approved vendor (AHA, ARC, or ASHI) — required
• All life support certifications must be issued by AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Med/Surg skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
• Must not be an Arizona resident — candidates residing in Arizona are not eligible for this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Experience working in a surgical Med/Surg environment
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems in an acute care setting
