Pediatric SLP in Van Nuys, CA

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or eligibility to obtain CCC
• Georgia state SLP license or eligibility
• School-based SLP experience is a plus
• Understanding of IEP processes preferred
• Comfortable using and training others in AAC devices

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete comprehensive assessments to diagnose communication and swallowing difficulties
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student goals and needs
• Employ evidence-based interventions across a range of disorders and delivery modes, including teletherapy when appropriate
• Collaborate with teachers and other healthcare professionals for holistic student support
• Track student progress, update goals, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
