Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Pocatello, ID 83201

Start Date: June 15, 2026

Location: Pocatello, Idaho

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (5:00 PM - 5:00 AM). This is a 13-week travel assignment with 36 hours of orientation.

Highlights:

• Experienced Labor & Delivery unit with 200-300 births per month
• Teaching hospital environment offering exposure to high-risk antepartum and complex deliveries
• Comprehensive scope of practice including triage, C-section circulation and recovery, and high-risk delivery assistance
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of L&D experience
• Hands-on experience with advanced monitoring including IUPC placement and calibration, central line maintenance, and specialized medication therapies

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Idaho or Compact license required at time of application)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, and Fetal Heart Monitoring
• Experience with electronic charting systems required
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
• Proficiency in high-risk antepartum care, triage of obstetrical patients, sterile vaginal exams, isolation precautions, and specialized therapies including anticoagulation, insulin drips, and magnesium sulfate
