Your Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments, order necessary diagnostic tests, and develop tailored care strategies
• Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, or chronic conditions alongside physicians or autonomously based on your credentials
• Inform and empower patients and families about wellness, preventive care, and management of diseases
• Prescribe medications and treatments within your scope of practice
• Engage in follow-up care and chronic disease management for your patients
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to guarantee fluid, holistic care
• Maintain meticulous and accurate records in electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications You'll Need

• A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Florida
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialization
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or ability to acquire within 90 days)
