- Perform comprehensive assessments, order necessary diagnostic tests, and develop tailored care strategies
- Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, or chronic conditions alongside physicians or autonomously based on your credentials
- Inform and empower patients and families about wellness, preventive care, and management of diseases
- Prescribe medications and treatments within your scope of practice
- Engage in follow-up care and chronic disease management for your patients
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to guarantee fluid, holistic care
- Maintain meticulous and accurate records in electronic medical records (EMR)
- A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Florida
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialization
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or ability to acquire within 90 days)
- Exceptional clinical judgment coupled with a warm, empathetic approach
- Outstanding communication abilities with patients, families, and medical staff
- Ability to adapt in dynamic, patient-centered environments
- Familiarity with EMR systems and proficiency in telehealth technologies
- A collaborative attitude and a strong commitment to evidence-based practices
