We are representing a highly respected, Long Island–based construction management and development firm with a proven track record delivering complex, high-value projects across the Tri-State area.

With over 50 years of industry experience , the business has evolved into a full-service platform spanning construction management, general contracting, and real estate development , delivering projects from concept through completion.

Their portfolio includes industrial, multifamily, healthcare, education, commercial, and hospitality projects , with a track record of delivering hundreds of ground-up builds and billions in construction value .

This is a senior leadership role offering the opportunity to work on large-scale, high-impact developments within a company known for its relationship-driven approach, transparency, and consistent delivery .

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects from preconstruction through closeout , ensuring successful delivery across all phases
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource planning
• Maintain a strong on-site presence across Long Island and NYC projects
• Act as the primary liaison for clients, consultants, and key stakeholders
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors
• Prepare scopes of work and manage subcontractor procurement
• Negotiate contracts and drive strong commercial outcomes
• Lead and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability
• Ensure adherence to all health & safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Track project performance and deliver detailed reporting
• Oversee requisitions, cost tracking, and financial management

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager within construction
• Strong experience delivering projects in the Long Island and/or NYC markets
• Background across ground-up and complex commercial or multifamily projects preferred
• In-depth understanding of construction methodologies and project delivery
• Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoDesk Build preferred
• PMP certification (preferred)
• OSHA certification required
