Quality Control Inspector

Job Title

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct incoming inspection to validate arriving material meets quality standards with moderate supervision.
• Conduct outgoing inspection to validate material moved through the production process meets quality standards with moderate supervision.
• Accurately input data into appropriate data storage locations for all inspected material.
• Validate incoming and outgoing inspection documentation is available, organized, and complete.
• Provide In-Process Inspections as needed.
• Provide training and support for the Production team for quality-related process steps and other topics as needed.
• Inspections are visual as well as with tools.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Electronics preferred or equivalent experience is required, with demonstrated level of technical capability and responsibility.
• Very good written and verbal communication skills are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, particularly Word and Excel.
• Demonstrated capability as a self-starter in a hands-on environment is required.

This position does require one to be moving and standing, and there is some lifting involved. We inspect product that is up to 35 lbs regularly and the inspectors are on the move between production areas for most of the day, to the point that they have mobile workstations.
