Summary

The Division of Pediatric Nephrology at the Baylor College of Medicine and CHRISTUS Children's is seeking to recruit a full-time board-eligible or board-certified Pediatric Nephrologist to join a group of 2 Nephrologists at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Academic rank and tenure status will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience. Includes a faculty appointment in the Department of Pediatrics, a competitive salary, and a full benefits package.

Job Duties

• Provide pediatric nephrology services in the outpatient and inpatient clinical settings.
• Provide renal replacement therapies and related extracorporeal therapies, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, continuous renal replacement therapy, and therapeutic plasma exchange.
• Possess strong clinical and teaching skills and engage in scholarly activities.
• Teach residents, medical students, and staff.
• Be actively involved in quality, safety, and administrative activities.

Minimum Qualifications

• M.D., Ph.D. / M.D. / D.O. degree
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board.
• Board Certification by the American Board of Pediatrics.
