Certified Surgical Tech - Open Heart Experience

Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Job Description: We are seeking a Certified Surgical Tech with extensive experience in open heart procedures and vein retrieval. This position is at a community hospital that serves as a regional referral center, focusing on a diverse range of surgical specialties.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in surgical procedures as a surgical first assistant.
• Provide patient care and maintain a sterile environment.
• Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and operating room equipment.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in the setup and maintenance of surgical equipment, including the XI DaVinci system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST).
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in surgical services, specifically in open heart surgeries.
• Experience with robotic surgical systems, particularly XI DaVinci.
