As a Security Officer Distribution Field Patrol in Bloomfield, CT , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access activities, observe and report concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading docks, trailer yards, warehouse areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries, verifying credentials, following post orders, and reporting unusual behavior, damaged barriers, or unsecured areas.
• Support daily operations by assisting with incident reports, directional assistance, and policy reminders while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
