Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Operating Room position requiring general surgery and ortho experience with call coverage.

Job Details

• Main OR unit of a hospital surgical department,
• 24-bed unit with 1:1 patient ratios,
• Neuro/spine surgical specialty focus,
• Surgical patient population,
• Uses standard OR equipment,
• Epic EMR,
• 5x8-hour shifts, 0600-1630,
• Call requirements apply,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (AL or Compact),
• Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications from AHA,
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Operating Room specialty required,
• General surgery and orthopedic surgery experience required,
• Davinci Robot and Max face experience preferred,
• Epic EMR experience preferred,

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care for general surgery, orthopedic, neuro, and spine procedures,
• Navy scrub color required,
• No T-shirts, fleece jackets, hoods, or nail polish permitted,
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible,
