The Food Service Associate II is responsible for preparing and serving food items to students and/or school personnel in an efficient manner, and maintaining the food service facilities in safe and sanitary condition.

The Food Service Associate II is a 10 month position with the option to work during summer school.

Pay

$16.76 - $21.03 per hour (based on relevant work experience)

Job Duties

• Prepares and cooks nutritious and attractive meals according to recipe directions.
• Keeps the equipment and station neat, clean and organized; adheres to all kitchen sanitation policies and procedures.
• Operates a POS system, and processes student meal transactions
• Properly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures.
• Interacts positively with team, staff members, students and guests.

Requirements

• Food Handlers Certificate, required within 30 days of employment or until ServSafe certified.
• ServSafe Certification preferred, required within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to push/pull, lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
