Onboarding Lead

Location: This is a hybrid position with a preference for candidates based in Tulsa, OK or Austin, TX . Remote candidates residing in states where DSN Software currently employs team members will also be considered. Regular travel to customer sites is required. Our customers are highly specialized clinicians. Our software has to match that. The Role We're looking for an Onboarding Lead to guide specialty dental practices through the transition to DSN. You'll own onboarding from kickoff through go-live, including planning the launch, configuring the software, coordinating integrations, data migration, and hardware setup, training the practice, and supporting the team as they begin using DSN. You’ll be the customer's main point of contact throughout onboarding. You'll work across the customer and DSN teams, keep the plan on track, identify and resolve issues, and make sure the practice is ready to operate successfully on DSN. Success is measured by time to launch, on‑time launches, customer satisfaction, training completion, and customer readiness. What You’ll Own Own onboarding for new DSN customers from the sales handoff through go‑live and initial post‑launch support Lead the client kickoff meeting to understand the practice's workflows, establish the onboarding plan and timeline, assign responsibilities, and agree on a go‑live date Serve as the customer's main point of contact, keeping the customer and DSN teams aligned, informed, and on schedule Configure the customer's DSN software and services, including integrations and the workflows the practice will use Coordinate data migration and hardware setup, supported as needed by an onboarding engineer or product, making sure each part of the onboarding is completed on time Walk the customer through the configured system, test key workflows, and resolve issues before go‑live Train doctors, clinical staff, front‑office staff, and billing teams onsite or remotely, adapting each session to the practice's needs Lead the go‑live, support the practice through the transition, and hand the account over to Customer Success and Support once onboarding is complete Who You Are Required Experience managing customer onboarding, software training, or similar customer projects from planning through launch Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several customers, tasks, and deadlines at the same time Clear, confident communicator who can explain software and business processes in simple terms Comfortable learning and configuring software and working with technical teams to solve customer issues Calm, practical, and customer‑focused under pressure, with the ability to travel regularly for training and launches Strongly Preferred Previous experience in a dental office — such as an office manager, front‑desk team member, dental assistant, or similar operational role Hands‑on experience with dental practice management software such as DSN, WinOMS, Sensei, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or a comparable platform Experience leading software or healthcare onboarding and customer training Why DSN Small, fast‑moving team where your work has a clear impact and your ideas are heard Learn a specialized part of healthcare and become an expert in how specialty dental practices operate See the direct results of your work as customers successfully begin using DSN Own a wide range of work.
