The National Union Building is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Unit Facilities Associate to help maintain a clean, safe, and guest-ready environment for daily operations and private events.
Responsibilities- Clean and maintain all public areas, event spaces, hallways, and common areas
- Clean, stock, and inspect restrooms throughout shifts and during events
- Support event setup and breakdown, including tables, chairs, furniture, and equipment
- Monitor cleanliness during events and address guest-facing issues as they arise
- Perform routine building cleaning, trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and light maintenance tasks
- Assist with venue reset and preparation for upcoming events
- Report facility issues, maintenance concerns, and supply needs to management
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and events
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Previous facilities, janitorial, venue, or hospitality experience preferred
The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining clean and organized spaces, works efficiently under pressure, and understands that great guest experiences start with a well-maintained facility.
