Looking to gain real-world experience while making an impact? The Sales and Marketing Intern will support Plymouth's Sales and Marketing team with quoting, pricing, order management, and customer support activities while learning how products move from customer inquiry to production. This internship offers hands-on exposure to manufacturing sales processes, pricing strategies, market research, and cross-functional collaboration, providing valuable experience for students interested in business, marketing, engineering, or supply chain careers.

Position Summary

The Sales and Marketing Intern will support the Sales and Marketing team with quoting, pricing, and order management activities while gaining exposure to manufacturing sales processes and customer support functions.

Essential Responsibilities

• Update cost sheets based on customer specifications and product requirements.
• Perform billet calculations to support pricing and quoting activities.
• Review and verify sales orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Complete cost sheets and prepare pricing information for customer quotations.
• Work with Dir. Of Marketing to update cost sheets by tying specifications to the various activity-based costs
• Create quotes in the HOP quoting system.
• Manage PST - Germany with emphasis on sales process, engineering verification, determining best solution based on capabilities
• Assist the Sales and Marketing team with additional projects and administrative tasks as needed.

• Improving our quote process per feedback from VOC
• Assisting with quote follow-up to improve the accuracy of our quote win rate metric which is a measure of our market price
• Market research / customer / product / market identification for PST

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
