About the Role

The Company is seeking an AVP of Payroll Distribution for Small Business to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in executing the company's small business sales and distribution strategy, with a focus on payroll. This pivotal role involves managing the P&L for the company's two largest payroll partners, exceeding growth targets, and building strategic priorities. The AVP will also be responsible for creating complex compensation deals, developing new growth opportunities, and mentoring a team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in small business sales, underwriting, operations, or partner management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Knowledge of small business insurance with a focus on the payroll/HCM industry is a plus. Key responsibilities for the AVP of Payroll Distribution include partner forecasting, leading PSU and partnership meetings, and potentially leading all payroll partner management. The role requires a candidate with exceptional sales, relationship management, organizational, and leadership skills, who can demonstrate strategic thinking and the ability to influence high-level decision-makers. The AVP should be adept at solving complex business problems, identifying market trends, and leading change in a fast-paced, complex environment. The position demands a high level of collaboration, the ability to work in a matrixed environment, and a willingness to travel as needed. The role is 100% remote, and the candidate should be prepared to work in a remote capacity with the expectation of occasional office visits as business needs arise.
