They are honest and straightforward and get customers in and out efficiently.Our company has an outstanding opportunity for a task-oriented, motivated, and customer service minded Office/Billing Clerk in our Accounting Department. The Billing Clerk processes billing of all new and used vehicle deals, verifying all policies, money down, trade information and necessary paperwork. Routes vehicle transactions and ensures the proper completion of related documentation through the accounting office.Essential Responsibilities (not limited to):Perform basic and routine accounting functionsSubmit and cancel all-over-the counter, submit aftermarket/extended warranty productsProcess extended warranty cancellations.Maintain and reconcile schedulesHandle miscellaneous clerical tasks as assignedComplete specific tasks assigned by managerAssist in processing car dealsIssue checks for lien payoffs and submit to financial institutionsReviewing deal paperwork for complianceCoordinates changes to recaps with FIBill out dealer tradesBill out wholesaleOther special projects or duties requested by Controller, General Manager, or Officers of the CompanyMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required.Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and data entry.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced office environment.Preferred Qualifications:Previous customer service, administrative, cashier, or office experience is a plus but not required.Basic knowledge of automotive dealerships or vehicle titles is helpful but not required.Physical Requirements:Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.Ability to perform repetitive typing and filing tasks. #J-18808-Ljbffr
