Litigation Paralegal

Trusted, long‑standing full‑service Texas law firm seeks a skilled paralegal with medical malpractice defense litigation experience to join the team. Salary: $60,000 - $85,000 per year. Job Details We are seeking a highly experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in defense litigation support within a law firm environment. This role requires excellent organizational, research, and drafting skills, as well as the ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast‑paced setting. Responsibilities Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, manage logistics, etc.) Aid attorneys and provide assistance where needed Gather relevant information from a variety of sources Skills / Qualifications Experience with Discovery, managing cases, and correspondence Conduct legal research to find precedents that support a lawyer’s arguments in court Assist with court hearings, trials, mediations and depositions Draft legal documents such as affidavits, motions, subpoenas, settlement agreements, pleadings, discovery requests, and wills Highly organized with ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail Extensive computer and database expertise Family Law experience a plus Paralegal associates degree or other relevant certification Position Type This position is in‑office.
