Cook 4 days ago Requisition ID: 1086 Salary Range: $18.00 To $21.00 Annually MERCY RIDGE Mercy Ridge is looking to hire a skilled, motivated Line Cook to join our dining team. Under the direct supervision of the Executive Chef and/or Sous Chef, the incumbent is primarily responsible for preparing meals from the main kitchen for all dining venues to serve residents, guests and employees. Schedule: Full time, non-exempt position working various days that include weekends and the potential for overtime. Essential Functions: Prepares food items on the menus for residents, guests and employees according to daily production sheets. Follow recipes, portion control guidelines and ensure proper food preparation techniques to maintain high standards of quality and presentation. Ensures work station is cleaned and sanitized. Conducts regular checks to verify that ingredients meet quality standards and maintains consistency in preparation. Follows diet instructions, knows basic methods of preparing food in quantities and is familiar with seasoning requirements.
