Summer Sales Intern

Sales Intern Are you ready for some hands‑on selling experience with a Fortune 250 company that offers award‑winning Sales training? As our next Sales Intern, you will participate in an online and classroom training program that will guide you in prospecting new business and selling additional solutions to existing ADP clients in an assigned geographic territory. You will have a dedicated ADP Sales Representative to grow with and a focus on generating incremental business over the phone using virtual technologies, sales automation software, and more. No prior sales experience is required; we provide high‑quality sales training so you can succeed. Integrity, resilience, positivity, and a refuse‑to‑lose attitude are must‑haves. As in any role in sales, you will experience ebbs and flows, but challenges should ignite you to thrive, not weigh you down. What You’ll Do Network with key decision‑makers in your designated territory. Develop and execute a strategy to prospect targets for ADP payroll and human resources solutions. Mine existing and prospective clients for referral business. Work with our Training team to grow your selling skills. To Succeed In This Role Positive self‑starter: upbeat, persistent, able to cold‑call without fear of rejection, manage time well, and present ideas clearly, in person, on paper, and over the phone. Agile solution seeker: problem solver who can find an answer or solution even amid fast‑paced change. Continuous learner: attending school, currently in at least three years of a four‑year bachelor’s program (required). Bonus Points For These Prior sales experience. Leadership skills and collaborative mindset. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
