Work Calendar: August 10, 2026 (5 days prior to first institute day) through June 2, 2027 (last day of student attendance)

Schedule: 186 days per year, 6.5 hours per day, 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.


Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000, commensurate with experience

Paid Leave: 11 sick days, 4 personal days annually

Position Summary

Northbrook/Glenview School District 30 is seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Nurse for Wescott School. This non-exempt educational support position provides direct nursing services to students and support to staff to maximize health and wellness across the school community. All duties are performed in accordance with district and state board of education policies and procedures.


Qualifications

• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), First Aid, and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Computer literacy and competency in the use of existing technology
• Experience in nursing and completion of a school health orientation program (preferred)
• Illinois certification as a Vision and Hearing screening technician (preferred)
