Description:
Call is around 4-6 times in a 6-week period.
Weekend call is included in the 4-6 calls.
Start date is as soon as possible.
The RN will be responsible for a patient ratio of 1:1.
First-timers are accepted.
Weekend requirements involve picking up call shifts only.
On-call requirements include 4-6 calls in a 6-week time frame.
Call times are Monday through Friday from 23:00 to 07:00.
Weekend call times are from 07:00 to 19:00 or 19:00 to 07:00.
Floating between units is not required.
The facility is an acute care hospital with a daily census of 20-40 patients.
The RN will care for a variety of patient age groups, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
The hospital performs a range of surgical procedures, excluding trauma and transplant surgeries.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience.
Special procedures include thoracotomy, laparoscopic-assisted procedures, and total joint replacement.
Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy.
Travelers are expected to float between various facilities within the state.
Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment.
Communication devices needed for the role will be provided at no cost.
Modules must be completed pre-start and annually.
Time spent on modules is self-reported.
