Cath Lab Technologist

This position involves assisting in scrub, monitor, and circulating roles in the department. Clinicians must be available for a week-long orientation. The department has 2 cath labs, 2 electrophysiology labs, and 1 hybrid lab. On average, the department performs 10-20 cases per day. Common patient diagnoses include STEMI, cardiogenic shock, CAD, PAD, and atrial fibrillation/flutter. Call requirements include 1-2 weeknight shifts and 2 weekend shifts every 6-week pay cycle. Call response time is expected to be within 30 minutes. Floating may be required within the department under certain circumstances. Self-scheduling is allowed with a block schedule of 4x10 hour shifts. There is a holiday on-call requirement. The dress code includes specific scrub colors. A unit-specific orientation will be provided. The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for shorter assignments. Charting will be done using the EPIC system.
