Immediate need for a talented Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) / Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS). This is a 13 weeks contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Lake Geneva, WI (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights 40 hours/week
• Expected Hours: Please inquire (no hourly guarantee)
• $50$60/hr great pay for experienced MLT/MLS!

• Generalist role hematology, blood bank, chemistry, urinalysis, and microbiology keep your skills sharp!
• EPIC EMR modern, user-friendly charting system
• Holiday coverage required extra pay on holidays!
• Both Local & Travel welcome!
• Collect patient specimens
• Utilize Information System to receive patients, order and collect samples, result tests, answer questions from nurses and physicians
• Perform lab tests in hematology, urinalysis, chemistry, blood bank, and microbiology
• Analyze test results for validity and accuracy prior to release
• Assure designated turnaround times and critical results are appropriately reported
• Perform quality control and proficiency testing procedures
• Interpret and troubleshoot quality control results
• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of instrumentation
• Participate in teaching and training of new partners and students
• Maintain competency in current and new procedures

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Current MLT/MLS Generalist Certification OR Specialty Certification (BB, C, H, or M) required
• Hematology and Blood Bank experience required
• Must be qualified to perform high complexity testing according to CLIA 493.1489 Standard
• Education verification required
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Less than 1 year experience accepted new grads welcome!
• No state license needed for Wisconsin
• Holiday coverage required
• Locals are accepted no radius restriction
