The professional security officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What you can expect includes conflict resolution and de-escalation; frequent interactions with client employees and guests; identifying and reporting safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity; ensuring that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed; providing customer service and information to the client's employees and guests; utilizing technology devices throughout the shift; conducting tours of the property; responding to incidents, calls, and communicating with the director of security; and carrying out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site.

Basic requirements include being 18 years of age or older, having a high school diploma or GED, above average computer/technology skills, excellent customer service and team leadership skills, the ability to work independently, the ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations, great attention to detail and vigilance throughout the shift, a professional demeanor, the ability to respond to emergencies with rapid/effective judgment and appropriate escalation, willingness to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, a valid driver's license, no security license needed, alertness and observability, responsibility and dependability, open availability preferred, and driver certification.
