Activities Assistant Join our team at Shelby Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, where It's All About Living! Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Activities Assistant to join our team at Shelby Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Sidney, Ohio . As an Activities Assistant, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a variety of activities designed to enhance the quality of life for our residents. This position is PART_TIME. About the Role: Plan and lead a variety of activities, including games, outings, and entertainment events, to engage residents and promote socialization and cognitive stimulation Conduct individual and group assessments to identify resident interests and preferences, and tailor activities accordingly Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement activity programs that meet the needs of our residents Maintain accurate records of activities and participation, and report any concerns or issues to management Provide support and assistance to residents with daily living activities as needed Requirements: 1 years of experience in a healthcare (or related field) High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift and move residents as needed Why Join Our Team: At Shelby Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, we are committed to providing individualized, compassionate, and innovative healthcare services that inspire each guest to achieve the full and meaningful life they desire.
