Technologist - Special Procedures

Location: Salisbury, MD Department: Special Procedures Schedule – Full Time – Monday-Friday, occasional weekends – 0800-1800 Technologist - Special Procedures Position Summary Assists Radiologist in the performance of diagnostic and interventional radiographic procedures at a level of competence not requiring constant supervision to technical detail. Assumes responsibility for designated area, procedures, and students as assigned. Inventory, distribution, and delivery of medications may be required. Position Requirements Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology Training program approved by the JRC/ERT and registered with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT). Must maintain Maryland State Certification to practice Radiologic Technology in the state of Maryland and must follow all regulations as per those regulations. Schedule & Duties Day or evening shift; Monday through Friday. Expected to rotate call availability for evenings, nights, and weekends. Expected to work overtime in time of personnel shortages or emergencies. Expected to respond in the event of a disaster. May alternate working on Saturdays.
