Part time Phlebotomist-Boca Raton

Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other required tests. Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Carry out administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification, completed training program, or three months or more of experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications One year or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must be from an accredited agency. Must pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation.
