Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team.
This position provides a unique opportunity to split time between the Acute Inpatient Unit and a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
The role offers a challenging and rewarding chance to work with diverse patient populations.
You will work with patients recovering from neurological injuries and surgeries in an acute setting.
You will also engage with elderly patients with various rehabilitation needs in the SNF.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, patient-centered physical therapy services.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Your goal will be to help improve patients' functional outcomes in both settings.
Strong knowledge of neurological disorders and evidence-based rehabilitation techniques is essential.
The ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team is required.
You should possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Strong documentation and organizational skills are also necessary.
Experience in neurological rehabilitation or acute inpatient care is preferred.
Experience in geriatric rehabilitation and SNF care is preferred.
Dress code consists of hospital-provided scrubs.
The cancellation policy allows the client to cancel shifts as specified in the agreement.
Charting will be conducted using the EPIC system.
