Senior Property Claims Adjuster - Large Loss & Fire Expert

JOB SUMMARY

Will be responsible for determining action on property/casualty claims based on coverage, appraisal, and verifiable damage. This particular role will encompass large loss adjusting, fire claims, as well as other dwelling claims as needed. Review invoices and expert reports, determine applicable coverage and damages. In addition, the Adjuster will provide quality claims handling (customer contacts, coverage, investigation, evaluation, reserving, negotiations and resolutions) including maintaining full compliance with internal and external quality standards and state specific regulatory requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Apply broad knowledge of Company policy, regulatory standards to investigate and evaluate large fire and water damage claim. Handle all exposures of the claim including Dwelling, Other Structures, Contents and ALE. Establish reserve amounts within settlement authority limit; recommends claims which exceed authority limit to supervisor for approval. Maintain claims on a regular diary to monitor for compliance and progress of ongoing claims. Throughout entire claim process, ensure exceptional service is provided to customers and timely response to phone calls, emails and written communication. Direct, monitor and review files handled by independent adjusters to conclusion.
