Apply now and join our team!Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.Full-time on-site role in Northridge, CAResearches, plans, designs, verifies, validates and develops mechanical and/or electromechanical products and systems, such as metals, instruments, controls, plastics, robots, engines, machines and mechanical, resonance, hydraulic or heat transfer systems for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy.Recommends various technology options or approaches for system, processes, facility or program improvements in terms of safety, performance, efficiency or costs.May be responsible for the transfer from R&D to manufacturing.Must Have: Minimum RequirementsTo be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident on your resume.Bachelor's degree with 4+ years' relevant experience in a regulated industry or Advanced degree with 2+ years of relevant experience in a regulated industryFixture design, deployment and validation on the manufacturing line requiredExperience with manufacturing line validation (DOE, Process development, IQ/OQ/PQ)Solid Works / CAD ModelingAbility to travel 20 – 30% domestic and internationalNice To Have:Medical device or Healthcare industry experience strongly preferredAbility to plan and execute with speed and accuracyStatistical analysis knowledgeProject Management experienceExperience with mechanical assembly equipment such as staking, adhesive dispense, electrical functional test equipmentMiniMed offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits packageAt MiniMed, we put people first. PR) locations (USD):$87,000.00 - $149,000.00For roles located in California, Seattle WA, Washington DC, Boston MA, and New York City, the salary range is $97,000 - $165,000 USD.Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, education, certifications, skills, market conditions, internal equity, and geographic location.
