About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:30 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years strongly preferred License: South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required Certifications: BLS, Clienttion Badge required Must-Have: Scrub experience strongly preferred. Traveler will be required to work at least one of the holiday periods. Description: The position is for an Operating Room Registered Nurse. The shift will consist of three 12-hour shifts on weekends. Call is not required. The nursing teams consist of a mix of Registered Nurses and Certified Surgical Technologists. Registered Nurses are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures. This is a busy and dynamic, nurse-driven department. The facility is a level-one trauma center with multiple operating room suites covering all surgical specialties. It provides cutting-edge technology to the community. All travelers should be prepared to respond to emergency situations as needed. During hurricane season, assignment may include emergency response team duties. The facility prioritizes non-local candidates first. Travelers should ensure compliance with all pre-start requirements prior to reporting to the facility. A high level of professionalism and adaptability is expected from all candidates.
